When Heather Anderson joined GHC in 2012, we were a scrappy team of eight working out of donated office space. Over 14 years, she helped build the programs that have trained and equipped more than 1,400 health equity leaders. Today, those leaders are navigating some of the most urgent challenges in public and global health – an Ebola outbreak, shifting global funding landscapes, accelerating climate crises, and health systems under profound strain across the U.S. and sub-Saharan Africa.
